1. Business Overview

Kopco Tutoring provides online English language tutoring and academic support services, including IELTS preparation, SAT preparation, and academic English instruction.

By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Services

All services are:

  • Delivered online
  • Conducted on a one-on-one basis (unless otherwise stated)
  • Scheduled in advance

Session duration and format are specified at the time of booking.

3. Booking and Payment

  • All sessions must be booked in advance
  • Payment may be required before or at the time of the session, depending on the booking method
  • By booking a session, you agree to the pricing and service description provided

4. Authorization

By providing payment details or completing a booking, you:

  • Confirm that you are the authorized user of the payment method
  • Authorize Kopco Tutoring to charge for scheduled services
  • Agree that charges correspond to tutoring services requested

5. Scheduling and Attendance

  • Clients are responsible for attending sessions at the scheduled time
  • Late arrival does not extend the session
  • Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time

6. Time Reservation

When a session is booked:

  • The time slot is reserved exclusively for the client
  • That time cannot be reassigned on short notice
  • The session is considered initiated once the scheduled time begins

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice
  • Requests made within 24 hours may not be accommodated
  • Availability for rescheduling is not guaranteed

8. No-Show Policy

  • Failure to attend a session without notice is considered a no-show
  • No-shows are non-refundable
  • The reserved time is considered used

9. Refund Policy

Refunds are governed by our separate Return & Refund Policy.

By using our services, you agree to that policy.

10. Service Delivery

Tutoring services are considered delivered when:

  • The scheduled session time has begun
  • The tutor is available and prepared to conduct the session

Delivery does not depend on client participation once the session has started.

11. Communication and Records

We may maintain records of:

  • Booking confirmations
  • Session schedules
  • Communication (email, messages)

These records may be used for service management, support, and dispute resolution.

12. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when booking
  • Maintain a respectful and professional environment
  • Ensure access to a stable internet connection and necessary equipment
  • Join sessions using the provided details

13. Disclaimer

  • Tutoring services are provided for educational purposes
  • Results may vary based on effort, participation, and individual factors
  • No guarantees are made regarding specific outcomes or test scores

14. Limitation of Liability

Kopco Tutoring is not liable for:

  • Client-side technical issues
  • Missed sessions due to client actions
  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Academic or exam outcomes

15. Dispute Resolution

Clients agree to:

  • Contact Kopco Tutoring directly to resolve any concerns
  • Allow reasonable time for review and response

We aim to resolve issues fairly based on available records.

16. Modifications

We reserve the right to:

  • Update services
  • Adjust pricing
  • Modify these Terms

Changes will be posted with an updated date.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
